The Football Foundation and their funding partners; The FA, Premier League and Government (via Sport England) are revolutionising the state of grassroots football pitches across England, ensuring that by 2030, grassroots football has 20,000 ‘good’ quality pitches to enjoy.
West Riding FA are working closely with the Football Foundation to improve the quality of grass pitches within our region. West Riding FA can support your club/organisation in accessing:
- Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund – A fund providing six-year tapered grants to help eligible clubs/leagues/organisations enhance or sustain the quality of their grass pitches. Further information can be found here: https://footballfoundation.org.uk/grant/grass-pitch-maintenance-fund
- Grass Pitch Maintenance Machinery & Equipment – The Football Foundation offer grants of up to £25,000 for the machinery and equipment essential for grass pitch maintenance.
